About cherry tomato
Cherry tomato is an annual plant that grows 2 m tall. It grows fast. It is self-fertile, so you only need one. The leaves are strongly scented.
The flowers attract pollinators.
How to plant cherry tomato
Cherry tomato does best in full sun. It grows in sandy soil, loam and clay, as long as the soil is well drained. It does best at a pH of 5.8–6.8. It does not tolerate frost, so wait until the frosts are over before planting out. In a forest garden it belongs in the herb layer.
Plant plants 60 cm apart, at least 45 cm. It struggles in compacted soil, so keep the soil loose.

Summer. Water during dry spells in June–September. Prune it in July–September. Cut out suckers (side shoots that emerge between the main stem and a leaf branch). Take a little off to tidy the shape. Less than you think.
Winter. Start seeds indoors in February–April.
